I trained as a Hairdresser straight from leaving school. After I gained some experience I decided to travel. I moved to Bermuda where I found work in the leading salon on the island. I had a diverse mix of clients and soon developed new skills in Afro Caribbean hair. I enjoyed all the challenges that came my way. It wasn't long before I was session styling for catwalk shows and photo shoots. I was very privileged to have done the hair of Miss World Gena Swainson! I remained in Bermuda for 4 years before feeling like a change.
I moved on to Brazil, Barbados, and Australia before settling for the Cayman Islands. There I found work in a Multimillion pound top salon where I developed even further as Head Stylist. The proud moment came when I was nominated for the 'British Hairdresser of the Year Awards'.
My passion for Scuba Diving took me to a whole new level of hairdressing when I was given the opportunity to work with the worlds Top Underwater Photographer Cathy Church in underwater session styling photo shoots on reefs in the Caribbean Sea!
My work has taken me all around the world. I have had much of my work published in international hair magazines. I have also been involved with working with television when a film crew filmed me working in the salon.
I returned home and began work at David Maria where I was Creative Director. I then took on a role as Senior Hair Stylist with Olivia Knowles, before deciding to start operating as a Mobile
Hairdresser in Blackpool and beyond. I still enjoy photo shoots and session styling and regularly have work published. I love to keep in-touch with whats new. I achieve this with
regular and continued training with top academies such as Vidal Sasson. Wella, Tigi, GHD, Joico and many more. I regularly attend hair events
I have many local clients, also clients that travel from Manchester, London and Germany and Norway!
I love my job!
